In court yesterday, Assistant District Attorney Michael Garmisa asserted that when he deposed a former homicide detective for more than two hours at the D.A.’s office back on Sept. 24, 2020, he had no legal obligation to tell the detective that he was the target of an ongoing grand jury investigation.
