At a joint press conference yesterday, a couple of lame ducks wearing Clark Kent-style glasses, Mayor Jim Kenney and Danielle Outlaw, Kenney’s hand-picked police commissioner, were trying to explain their way out of a self-inflicted PR nightmare — the fatal Aug. 14th police shooting of 27-year-old Eddie Irizarry.
